Those are nice knives
I love the handle on the top knife. Is that called a through tang? With the hole for the lanyard at the end of the handle?

You could surely call that a through tang. It is a 1/2 to 3/4 tang. Very strong. The tang on the other two go all the way to the end of the handle as you can see by the fact that the lanyard hole goes through the tang. They are an exclusive of "The Cutlery Shoppe". They don't make the m30a1 any more but they still have the other two.
