Thanks, that'll do. I just use the calipers for myself but it looks like I'll be scoring the #1 shoot this year so want to do it right.

Funny part was I was on the pone today with Brownells and they couldn't find them at either Brownells or Sinclair. Go figure.

The upper jaws of a caliper do it perfectly as-is. Measure inside to outside of the two furtherest holes and you are done with-in .005" maximum, center-to-center.

Not sure I'm tracking here...How would that work on a cloverleaf? :?

Wouldn't one measure outside to outside at widest point and subtract bullet diameter?

Maybe coffee hasn't kicked in yet... :)

IN THIS CASE you measure the widest point of the group and subtract one bullet diameter for sure. BUT you need not having to do that if you measure inside-to-outside of the two furtherst holes on a larger group as that gives you center-to-center.

The bughole shooters are a real picky bunch. Best I remember when I played that game, they did their measuring under a big magnifying glass, using the tools made for that job.
