Grips and Grip frame question

So I have these grips posted for sale.

I am sorry to say I only own new model single sixes. These will not quite fit right due to the locating pin and hole not lining up perfectly. Would this reflect the difference between an old model and a new model???

So are these grips meant for an old model, or are they meant to need a little bit of adjusting of the hole to fit???

Just need a little adjusting. The way that I do it is to drill the hole out with a 1/4" forestner bit, fill the hole about 2/3 the way with kneaded 2-part epoxy putty, place a drop of light oil on the grip pin, and press the grips over the pin. Let cure, file excess flat, and clean up the hole with a drill bit.
