I'm interested in suggestions for grips for my Speed Six 4". It is my carry gun for backpacking/hiking and I love it .. the problem is that the standard wooden grips it came with don't feel comfortable to me., they just seem too small for it. Thank you for your time and expertise.

Pachmayr made Compacs for the Speed Six, and maybe you can get a set of Siles. I am pretty sure Pachmayr made the Gripper for the Speed Six, too. I think all of these grips are out of production so the best bet is Ebay or GB.

I myself have the factory wood on both my Speed Sixes so I haven't done a lot of looking for grips.

Here's a little something from Shop Ruger "Attic Treasures."

I have a nice set of hand filling wooden grips for your Speed six. They are made by Herretts. If you are interested, I'll try to get a pic taken of them to send you. They are in new condition. I'd take $25, shipped.
