Ruger has one....... spoken with tongue in cheek.....
Any of the old aluminum grip frames could probably be made to work. You'd lose the lock, though, and may have to refinish the gun after adjusting mating surfaces.
Hmm, I recently made up a OM .357 Flattop into a .44 Special. ONE OF THE FIRST MODIFICATIONS was to "can" the XR-3 aluminum for a XR-3 steelie.....
