I HAVE A CHANCE TO TRADE FOR THIS, BUT WANTED TO POST IT HERE TO SEE WHAT YA'LL THINK. I'VE NEVER SEEN A GP100 WITH FIXED SIGHTS. HOW OLD DO YOU THINK IT IS OR COULD BE? THE OWNER TRADED FOR IT AND WANTS MY STOEGER AUTO AS I HAVE ALOT OF AMMO AND HE HAS NONE. THANKS

The fixed sight models have been in constant production since around 88'. I just got a brand new 2013 production 4" stainless half lug fixed sight which is more uncommon than this 3", yet still not really rare. Great pieces though. Quite a few of the 3" full lug model are on Gunbroker.com right now. What's rare are the compact grips for these as pictured on your post. I think a 171 prefix is mid 90's but others will know for sure.

I can find you a brand new one of these for $550.00 that includes a lifetime warranty.

Agreed, they're still in production and still on Rugers web site.
That being said, they're nice shooters. I've got a couple.
