GP100 5 inch

I don't know if they are extremely rare or not, but it is a Davidson's exclusive. About 2 years ago I traded a Colt MKIII Trooper 6"bbl for a new one. I don't know if that was a wise trade or not, but I have never regretted it. I like stainless steel and I like GP100 revolvers. :D

A good balance between the 4" & 6" full lug models .

I do tend to group (if ya wanna call it that) with a bit heavy on the muzzle though.

I love my 5 inch gp100.I bought mine off Davidsons about 4 years ago.

I've got one and love it. I shot one at the range and immediately asked my LGS to get me one. He does a lot of business with Davidson's and got mine in a couple of months later.

Balance is just about perfect without any of the front heaviness of the 6. Only problem I have is that I haven't found a properly sized holster for hunting.

Found one on GB about a year and a half ago. My hands would be hard pressed to find a nicer handling DA six shooter. I think it's perfect.

I just scored a 5 inch stainless GP100 at a LGS for $399 plus tax. The stainless has some surface blemishes that would easily polish out. Mechanically it's flawless.

wow, nice find!

To top if off I put it on lay-a-way in January right at the height of the panic. I actually thought it was a four inch model when I laid it away. When I picked it up last week I realized it was a 5 inch.

Now, what's the best way to rehab the standard Ruger stainless finish??

Thanks,
Stephen
