I got a call from him several days ago,,, & wasn't in,,, & able to talk. The message was he's been having some health issues,,, which are very taxing on him. That's why we haven't seen him much.
The fundraising has about run it's course. There are some things that were offered for sale in the Classifieds, that didn't sell, & the $$$ would have been added to the fund. I recently received another donation check, and I'm sending the second combined check to callshot this week.
Jussbad has offered more of his wax paper for sale recently, with the proceeds going to this,,, but none has sold as far as I know. I held off sending the next check to see if anything else sells.
I, like so many here have been following Michael's story,, and await the next chapter. But he has to be able to put it out,,, & from what I've gathered,,, he's suffering a bit right now.
I'll see if I can call him this evening.

I just got off the phone with GP100,,, (Michael,) a few minutes ago. He's been in the hospital for a few days & dealing with health issues.

I'm back on the board, and I'm doing okay right now.. Been having some issues with my leg and my kidneys..
But I'm okay for the moment..
At this time, I would like to take a minute to let folks know how much I honestly and truly appreciate everything that the people here have done, and are doing to help me..
I'll post more of an update tomorrow in this thread, when I have more time to talk in detail..

Hi everybody,
I'm doing okay. Just had a few issues with my kidneys due to diabetes and the congestive heart failure.. I'll be okay, just need rest. I'm on medication so we'll see how things go with this.. In other news, the rent is paid, and all bills are currently taken care of at the moment. However, the state of Idaho, in all its wisdom has decided to cut the hours my caregiver works.. It seems that they feel that since my caregiver lives with me, they say she can work some hours for free.
It seems that if you live with someone, the state gets pissy about it, and doesn't want to help you at all.. I guess Callshot went through this same situation with his wife once, as we had a conversation about it and I told him what was going on here..
Financials here have been tough recently. The bills are being paid easy enough. But money for food and gas and a few meds have been tough to come by at times.. So I have to choose between meds, gas and groceries at times.. Some of my medications and medical equipment are not covered by my insurance.
Due to this, Callshot came by one day and him and Christine brought some food over that they could spare for us.. It was greatly appreciated..
I don't like to talk to much about my current situation for the reason that I don't want to always seem like I'm being negative about things by talking to much about my issues day to day.. I try to stay positive about things because I look at it this way, "every day I wake up above the dirt, is a good day."
I'm trying very hard to look at the glass as half full, instead of it being half empty.. But let's just say that if there's a light at the end of the tunnel, with my luck it would be a freaking Am Trak train.. :shock:
So anyway, the bills are being paid. I'm thankful for that..
And thank you all for the love and support here.. I'm trying to get the book written as fast as I can, but with my health screwing with me right now, I don't get the time I want, to write as many chapters as fast as I desire to.. But I'm working on it gang.. Thanks for your understanding and patience.. And thank you for the donations.. Trust me, its helping.
