Just picked up a really nice 3" GP100. Did a light polish on the trigger. Very nice trigger, except for a bit of hesitation at the end of the trigger return. Reinstalled the factory, trigger return spring, but no difference. I tried pinning down where the hitch is, but can't find it. Any ideas?

the trigger return well may need polishing with a 13/64 drill bit .

but the return problem sounds as if the plunger (arrow shaped peice) may have a weak spring pushing on it (pawl plunger spring).or the cyl latch spring weak.

also there may be a ruff surface on the square frnt on the latch.

If this is good the plunger may have been over polished

The plunger had a small burr on it. Cleaned it up a bit and all is good now. Thanks.
