I wonder if the Blue GP 100's have the same issues ?

Good question. To test requires subjecting the blue and the stainless revolvers to the same amount of identical ammunition. The .357 Magnum is an erosive round. Nevertheless, to judge by reported volume of ammo through the two GP-100's pictured, I consider erosion excessive. Until I know otherwise, I treat off-brand ammo as "gray market ammunition."

Without testing, cannot conclude whether barrel or ammo is at fault.
