Good Internet Source For BP Basics?

Hi, All -

I'm interested in learning about black powder pistol and rifle shooting - the rudiments, because I know nothing at all about the subject.

I have questions about BP substitutes (corrosive?) and clean-up requirements, loading instructions,ball or projectile types, and hazards for beginners (also known as "Can I screw up badly enough to hurt myself or others?").

Is there a reliable website for this?

Also, are all Ruger Old Army revolvers 3-screw models? Are they a better beginner's tool than one of the other manufacturers?
