I was working out Saturday with this Super Blackhawk:
And this Uberti Open Top:
I was shooting 7.5 grs. HP-38 with a 240 gr. SWC in the .44, and had one of those days that was just fun. I was shooting standing, sort of duelist style, and had my target, a 6" diameter stick-on at an embarrassingly close range, 7 1/2 yards. But my first round took out that little red dot in the center of the bull. And firing fairly rapidly, kept all my shots (with the .44) in the black. The Open-Top is a little more difficult as I lose the front sight at times, but still results were plenty gratifying. Fired just over 200 rounds for a pleasant workout.
