Going price for a SB Hunter .44?

I love Ruger Hunters. But their resale is pretty week. I think $500 for a used one is a fair, but not a great, price. Of course it depends on condition. They are really under appreciated guns IMHO. And I'd have no problem paying a little more than the market was asking, because I think they're worth more. But, of course cheaper is better. 8)
