Gemini front sight

Has anyone used he Gemini Small Wonder 14 kt. gold bead front sight on their SP101? I don't care for the original SP sights, but I am not a big fan of any of the "glow-in1the-dark sights either.

I have experience with the Gemini Small Wonder front site on an SP but not the gold bead. Mine was the red tube.

I broke mine doing the dummy/budda/newbie "I can install it myself" :oops: routine and they replaced it for FREE. :!:

I have Marc Morganti's "Small Wonder" black sights (no gold bead) on three different SP101s.

They're well made and provide excellent contrast with the guns' stainless barrels. The rear face of the sight is near vertical and hence gives a much sharper sight outline than the low-angle stock front sight ramp.

The addition of a gold bead certainly couldn't hurt, but even without one they give a very good sight picture.

I recently put a Gemini gold bead on my GP-100 .357, and I can tell you it’s very well made and works great for me. Their response was great - I called them on a Friday and I had it in something like 10 days. I use it with a Warren Custom “One Hole” ghost ring rear and that combination is easy to pick up. I would recommend both companies, but since you asked about Gemini, I would definitely give them a call; I think I spoke to the owner, and he was great! I will eventually put one on one of my SP-101s later.

Added: I should have stated that I got the idea for both items from someone else on this forum; I don’t recall who, but I’m thankful for everything I learn here!
