Geico...who dreams these things up?

I haven't looked, BUT let me guess, it's the family at the dinner table with their NEW vibrating chairs !!

2 minutes later; YUPPERS, I WAS RIGHT !!

The dogs, cats and other animals love those chairs too !!

I thought that was one of the dumber commercials out these days.

Me to dumber than heck.

I'm glad I'm not you guys. If all you can see is dumb when everybody else can at least get a chuckle out of it indicates something. I don't know what but something. Maybe your life is just too serious. Maybe you need to lighten up a bit.

It indicates that you think you know that everyone else gets a chuckle out of it without having any way of knowing anything of the sort.

Perhaps you should think about that.

I'd be amazed if even half the people in the U.S. found that funny.

I thought it was funny and the more times I see it the more I actually see happening. I understand that some may not find it humorous. I, however, wouldn't call someone out because they think something is or is not laughable though. Not pointing any fingers, just making a statement, but there are people who have a different sense of what is and isn't funny. That is why we are called 'individuals'.

Ka6otm, Guess I have a good sense of humor, I even found your post above to be funny.

Have fun being miserable.

I liked that camel one too.

When I take over, no network or channel will be allowed to air more than ONE commercial for insurance (of any kind) or cell phones/service of any kind per hour.

They are far better than the "You may be able to get compensation for". They promise compensation for "moles, colds, sore arse holes, and a pimple on you doodad." Late at night they are like fleas on a camel.

I thought it was halariously funny. Most of what we watch has been recorded so we skip over commercials. In fact I don’t really watch commercials at all. I think advertisers are aware of this and have to change their tactics to reach those people like myself.

I guess product placement is one way of getting advertising squeezed into screen time. Funny commercials like this is another method.

I don't care what Gieco is selling. I just watch them because they are funny.

They picked the perfect voice for that camel one. If a camel could talk, I reckon that's what he'd sound like!

Actually you appear to have a small child's sense of humor, but I shouldn't be surprised all things considered.

And I'm not miserable at all. I enjoy life to the fullest I just don't have the mentality that advertising people are trying to appeal to.

How nice for you.

I also hate most commercials but realize if they were none there wouldn't be any tv at all except government sponsored programs and that would be much worse.
