I like to think of this gun as the little brother to the brass bisley John Linebaugh 475. John Gallagher built this one for me in 44 Special with one of the brass bisley gripframes and Clements OM bisley parts. He did a 5 1/2" octagon barrel and the base gun is on old model 357 flat top. When John built the gun we did black micarta grips. As I have played in the custom revolver sandbox a little more I find I see my tastes changing somewhat. With that in mind I decided that when my next 6 month slot came available with Roy Fishpaw I would have him do some exhibition grade French walnut grips. As usual, his work is something you have to hold and see to fully appreciate. I think this one is done. :)

This is the brass bisley 475 John reshod for me recently. Little brother and big brother.

 WOW
If I might call first dibbs should you ever decide to part ways...

There's just something about brass, walnut, and blue steel!

Think: Winchester Yellowboy, Hawken Mountain rifle, Ruger Blackhawk. Or, in your case, Bisley.

Whenever it arrives Steve! Just don't you be filling it with sand and super glue and using my Callshot brass for fishing weights! You do and I'll put the pox on the huckleberry crop this year and you will be in a WORLD of hurt!

I remember Fermin chiding me about not having a 44 Special so I decided that we would do one out of a sense of history. Once done and shot, I decided to have another one made!
