Description
For sale is a Ruger SS conv 5.5"bbl from around 1975. I have the box but it's in poor shape. It has some holster wear on the end of the barrel and on the loading gate. This gun was recently rebuilt by Ruger. I bought it a few years ago and found it to be severely out of time. It also looked like it had hardly been shot, which was no surprise since the bullets were tumbling. I sent it in to Ruger who replaced part of the trigger group and, I believe, both cylinders. I have the letter from Ruger documenting the repairs. I have had a trigger job done. It is light and crisp but fires reliably and shoots accurately. I have put a couple of hundred rounds through it, mostly .22lr.
The sale includes both cylinders, the box and some paper work.
In the pix I have whited out the last digits of the SN.
$425 + $30 Shipping.
If you are in N. New Mexico, I can do FTF but I will need to see a valid CCW permit, LEO credentials or similar
