How tall is the front sight on a Single Seven ? From barrel to top of blade. I am looking for a Single Six/Seven style ramp sight that is +/_ .429 tall. Thanks, Jerry

I don't know what the single seven fiber optic sight is that comes on them.
The .32 single six ramp sight is exactly .449" tall. Ruger will send you a front sight for free. Just call (336) 949-5200
Then just carefully file to proper .429" height you desire.

Thank you young man. I had a Single 7 a few years ago with a ramp sight but could not remember if it was taller than the Single 6. I will call them.

Yes it is definitely taller than a .22 single six.
FWIW; I have a 5.5” S7, I changed out the front sight for the sight that is on the 10.5” 44Mag SBH, it measures .449 and works great other than the hawks beak like to catch fabrics... :roll:
