At the time I was writing a gun article for a small outdoor publication and photos had to be black and white, so most of my photos were with B&W film. Small, and now defunct publication, The Tennessee Sportsman."

When I was a kid in Memphis we did most of our shooting behind what is now the Memphis Police Academy off of Highway 51. I grew up in Frayser.
