I watched this fox puppy catch this little cottontail rabbit. It was so proud of itself. I have been watching this family of foxes for awhile now and maybe I can get a few more 'Wild Kingdom' shots if I'm lucky. Dr.C

That's a tiny bunny, as well as a very young fox. That drink bottle behind it gives a good reference to size. Great pic there Doc. I enjoy seeing the red's. Luckily, in my job, I rarely have to deal with too many foxes. I enjoy seeing them all!

Neat:
That must be a tiny fox. Contender pointed out the plastic bottle, I didn't even notice. How close did it let you get? Was momma around close by?

There are four pups and are probably weaned, didn't see momma. They probably weigh 7-10 pounds and I was 30 yards away. Dr.C

Very jealous. Last Sunday while driving spotted a Red Fox in the ditch across the road from me. Pulled up and he completely ignored me. A few seconds of furious digging with his front paws and he snapped his teeth onto breakfast. He had a mouse or mole and then he decided to make his exit. All the while I'm thinking of my camera sitting on the table back home. Karl

great shot, mother nature at her finest.....same exact thing happened to me , on the tractor ,taking the my grandson, Colin for ride and smack in the middle of the trail ,little kit, looking just like that, stood there watching us, nope, no camera.......my cell phone is ONLY a phone. 8)

That's as fine a shot as can be asked for. I say don't worry about putting out too many of these fox kit pictures. If they're good post them. I don't get to be out amongst these things like I used to, and I personally enjoy all of this stuff you post.
