Weather in North Louisiana can be this way, but one can usually depend on Spring trying to crank up in middle February. Today it was 77 with enough of a breeze to be comfortable. Worked outside this morning in short sleeves. For Saturtday it will be cold (for us) with a high of 50 but it bounces right back up to the 70's. For all our little problems, Louisiana can be a really nice place to live.

Considering it was over 90°F here today, it's summertime. So much for all the rain El Nino was supposed to bring. Instead of calling themselves meteorologist, they ought to just admit they aren't any better than someone rolling bones and call themselves appropriately.

We are in the middle of an arctic sweep. Daytime in the single digits,... night time...minus 15. No big deal here. Lived in the mitt all my life and I'm good with it. Just got in from doing the morning feed and I was roasty-toasty the whole time. I have two dri-fire balaclavas that are incredible. One nice thing about having these nice cold temps. No poisonous snakes or bugs, no crocodiles, hell,... I haven't seen a tick in a few years. I'll take the cold weather. Can't stand the hot/humid stuff....

Mid to high 60's here this last week. Tree's are starting to bud, grass is greening up. Probably just in time for a drop back into the teens. Sure am enjoying it while it lasts, though. We just call those guys "weather guessers".

That's what my cousin's husband says. Can't stand the hot weather in Chicago???

They have lived in the UP for most of their married life and have been married longer than Brenda Lea and I have (which would be 42 years). If Chicago is too hot, don't know what he would think of North Louisiana
