was thinking about you today when we picked up this neat pair, (One of them came "back" home to roost...........)

Both brand new 5 1/2 inch ,fixed sight guns, with custom gunfighter grips made for them with the rig,put together from over here in Amish country (the belt anyway...) cannot figure the cartridge loop carrier for an Old Army, oh well...... :roll:

Dan, You are so right ,, neat pair. You say one of them came home, You let it get away once ? Does the bullet loop piece un snap to remove ? Nice.

Sam, thought you'd like this set, yes, the holsters and the cartridge carrier are the same maker, the belt was made over here in Amish country, not "quite" a match......his brother is a 'SASS' guy and he was going also "join" too, but the costs keep going up & up and he lost his job,sooooooooo............ :wink:

Howdy!
The cartridge carrier may be to hold spare rifle rounds, as a SASS/CAS shooter would need a pistol caliber rifle to shoot a stage as well as pistols.

Bingo, his brother said it was for the rifle (45 caliber marlin 1894...)
Sad part is he never got the chance to shoot any of it, it is all 'brand new' unfired ,as of yet.....the rifle was the first thing to go too, NICE gun.......
