I was wondering on the practice of posting an item for sale on more than one site. How does everyone feel about this. I have done it in the past and once it caused a problem with someone with hurt feelings. It is a way to get more exposure when you want to sell fast or !!!!!!.

I use first the public "I'll take it."
After that time stamps are tie breakers.

I see no issue with putting an ad in several places
If I have an item to sell, I want as much exposure as possible and get her sold
Sometines I'll put it in one place for a week or so then add to other places just to give a shot to one set of buyers/collectors

Sometimes when I list an item online, it is for sale in the shop as well, and will go to gun shows too. Online listings enjoy several locations. I feel it is thinking small to try to sell an item at just one location. If your not married to it, move it. We had an employee who just didn't get it..
