I’m down here on the beach, outside of Galveston. The moon outside tonight is orange!

Just looked it up, it’s a full moon tonight. It’s called the “Flower Moon”
Flower Moon

Very interesting. And down here on the beach it’s a pretty bright orange.

Oh. Here’s a picture. It almost looks like a sunrise.

I guess I’ll reply.

One thing I really wish is that that our earth has more than one moon. Why does Jupiter get so many?

Do you know how interesting it would be to have 5 or 6 moons?

Or rings, like Saturn? Why can’t Earth have some? I mean really! We are stuck with just one little, boring moon.

This picture, taken with an IPhone is facing East obviously.

Without the Moon the Earth's wobble would vary wildly causing very extreme season variations. With more than one Moon there would be dramatic changes in the tides causing flooding of coastal areas and cities. Our one little boring Moon is just perfect for life as we know it on this planet.

Yes, you are correct. However if the Earth were much, much bigger, like Jupiter again. Pollution would be less of a problem.

You know, “the solution to pollution is dilution.”

Or People could have 20 kids per family and it wouldn’t matter.

Everything could be bigger, trucks, houses, television sets.

But I guess it would take longer to fly from New York to California I suppose.
