Flattop with NV Hammer

My .44 Special has a New Vaquero hammer and grips. Ruger emailed me yesterday saying the hammer is the one it left the factory with. They didn't coment on the grips.

I don't really like the NV grips. I'll have to do something with them.

That sounds like a good mistake to me. If I could, I'd get it in writing from Ruger that they made the mistake, and I'd probably put it away with the letter and pick up another to shoot.
