Lipseys is going to kill me with all of these great Rugers they are issuing. Are the the 45C flat tops all steel? Does anyone know of anything that is coming out soon (like a 44 GP). My wallet is getting lighter buying these great guns.

Great looking grips Rclark!! Who did them? What are the materials? I have a Davidson's .45 Vaquero convertible on the way and may like something similar to the ones that your stainless version wears.

The Lipsey's Flattops are all steel and are heavier than the standard Blackhawks that have the aluminum frames. The standard Blackhawks also have larger grips and are stronger guns and will take "Ruger-Only Loads." Jeff Quinn has an excellent writeup on the Lipsey Flattops.

Ordered Lipsey's New model 45 flattop in Blue, 5-1/2 lg yesterday, could not really get a ship date, Does anyone know how long it is taking to get this item?? I am going to have a hard time waiting for this gun. Can't wait.

Oh Yeah! :D I was shooting 45 cowboy special and 45 ACP today. I only had to move the rear sight 3 clicks to get the windage centered!
