Fixed Sight Early Security Six

Just bought this early low back Security Six with fixed sights.
Not extremely rare, but not common either.
Condition is excellent, and I like it so wanted to share..

Not sure yet....it hasn't been fired very much, as the bluing is still showing on the inside of the barrel at the end, and no visible cylinder line..
Probably will not shoot it..
I bought a low back in 1972, and really regretted letting it go, so bought this one "Just to have one"
(actually I gave that 1972 to my Son about ~15 years ago, and told him never to get rid of it...and if didn't want it anymore to let me know and I would buy it back.... asked him about it a year ago, and he said he sold it a long time ago).....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

I've had a number of those in 4-inch but haven't run across one yet with the 2.75-inch barrel.

That's a great find. Looks to be in pristine condition too, congratulations. I have both a 2-3/4 and a 4", they're my favorite revolvers.

I was looking for a .357, and found a 4" low-back for a good price. Wouldn't mind trading it for a 6" Security-Six.
