Finish wear question

I'm wondering about finish wear on the front strap, is that a common problem on the SR?

I saw a used one sell today on an auction site and the back shows wear. The black was worn off to silver.
Sold for $510.00 plus freight etc. Just for a price point. This is the first I really watched to the end.

To be clear I am talking about the beaver tail part. Not a 1911 guy so maybe that is not what you meant?

What 'problem' are you talking about.

Finish wear from honest use is hardly a 'problem' .... its a fact of life and shouldnt bother anyone ... especially on a stainless gun.

We are talking about a gun .... right ?
