Finally shot some .357 rounds out of my SP101...Speer GD 158gr. The recoil was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Definitely more than .38 +P, but to me anyways, I thought it felt about as snappy as my Sig P229 in .40. At 20yards off-hand, first shot hit 3" bullseye...second a little outside. Very impressed for my first revolver.

Yes,, the SP surprises a lot of folks. We use a couple in our NRA WOT clinics,, and the ladies enjoy shooting them. I always try & point out the fact that a lighter revolver kicks more than a heavier one,, but the lighter one carries a lot easier.

Alright, I'm jealous. lol I haven't shot any .357, or even .38 +P through mine yet. But, I do like Gold Dot HP. I keep a mag full in the SR9. Next time I take it out I'll have some with me, and some Cor-Bon solid copper HP. My SP101 is a first for me too. Awesome little suckers, aren't they?
