Finally got one

Stopped in my LGS last week to see what they had left after the big EBR rush (basically nothing) but saw they had an SR1911 there so I bought it. Its the first one they've had since last April. They actually had 2 and neither stayed on the shelf until the end of the day.

Now to get ammo, .45 cleaning stuff, ambidextrous safety, holster, etc.

Not reeeeeel interesting, but it looks like Ruger is using the new white logo rug. My SR1911 with the red logo on top had the empty shell casing date of early September 2012 and the newer Commander had the date on its fired casing of early Dec. 2012.
