Well I've got Colt Anaconda's and Smith Pre-29's, 29's, and 629's. Yet, when it's time to head to the range, this is the gun I grab most often.

While the single action is a little heavy, I really like the double action (which is what I use for most of my shooting). Using the principles of the various IBOK's out there I've cleaned up the trigger a bit while maintaining the factory main spring. As you can see I splurged on a set of Nill Griffe stocks, and the gun came with a Bowen Classic Arms Rough Country Sight on it. I've had it for about a year now and a little over 1000 rounds have gone down the pipe (no 44 specials! I treat it like a Ruger  ) It looks great, but is beginning to show some bluing loss on the backstrap. I'll be satisfied when there's no bluing left. It's a wonderful 44 Magnum, and is as accurate as any other. I've got a 5.5" Stainless to match it and have been keeping my eyes open for a 4.2" but, truth be told, I like the blued models a little more (and dream of a 4" blued!).

The grips are great; they are very comfortable and fit the gun quite well. For $80 (on eBay) I am very happy with them! The wood is beautiful.

Nice. So it's a 44 mag GP100?

No, just a plain old Redhawk. I realize my original post was a bit confusing so I went and changed it to make things a little clearer!
