For sale is the .22 AMT Lightning. All stainless with Pachmeyer grips.
This is the model that prompted Ruger to file a lawsuit against them to cease production.
This is the scarcer 6" tapered version, most of these AMT's seem
to be the bull barrel. Very good overall condition with a small barrel ding and a few handeling marks.
Have the book, no box.
$ 400.00 shipped.
Thanks,
Greg

Not sure. Never tried.
Seeing as how they " borrowed" the design so close the parts are very similar, down to the take-down system, but I wouldn't count on it.
Others here know better thn I and perhaps may offer insight.
I had to have one of these to go with my Mark 2 collection but I'm thinning that group to fund the .32'S

There are a couple generations and baring individual fit, many parts will swap out with minimal work. I actually swapped some parts between mine and a liberty standard because the fit each other just a tad better. But... Don't rely on Ruger to come through for you. My lightning is some MkII, some MkI.

But, mine is a different generation, and has the shorter Micro adjustable sites (not sure if the one pictured has Micros).

I love mine, and like having the receiver grooved for tipoff rings, and it wears a 4x scope most of the time. If I had the cash, I would get this one.

They have a fake 10/22 as well with better parts in some cases. I have a stainless barrel band on my Ruger from one....highly polished of course.
