May he rest in peace and prayers to his family and co-workers.

Oh wait, this wasn't some low life criminal whose act of breathing is a waste of oxygen. It was a dedicated individual working hard to serve his community. Sort of puts things in glaring perspective.

Prayers to all involved.
I had a good friend of mine in California that was going through an intersection. What she didn't see was a cop on a motorcycle was chasing an individual and they ran the red light. She missed the car by inches and slammed into the cop, who unfortunately died. She was young at the time, late teens and was traumatized for years.

Another sad and disturbing trend. Two off-duty Philadelphia LEO's have been killed in motor vehicle accidents in the past week.
