I am trying to find out who engraved this 1972 45 Ruger Blackhawk Convertible. Please look at photo's at the site below to see if can make out the signature on handle and the type of engraving to see if it resembles any other gun engravings you have ever seen. SEE BOTH LINKS BELOW PHOTO'S !https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/dCpXg7LPf4t0fYoTHpeHw4u_fp67MSJ_qp_RCq39QQI?feat=directlink https://picasaweb.google.com/109484654861803407458/TSRUGERBLACKHAWK?authuser=0&feat=directlink

I can't quite understand the writing on the grip frame.....

A pic of the engraving would be helpful, as well....

The "dull finish" grip frame is something I've never seen on an engraved Ruger Blackhawk.....

It's definitely a "different" style than what I'm used to seeing. Sorry I can't offer any better information.

That is what the etching under the grip frame looks like to me from the pictures. Can you maybe post what the etching actually is? It may have been engraved overseas, making the search more difficult. Regardless, the answer is in that etching on the grip frame I think.
