Educate me please!!

I am unable to access the operator manual for the P95 on Ruger`s site.

My question is , Are the 10 and 15 shot P95`s the same gun just using different magazines or are they made differently as in the grip is thinner on the 10 shot gun?

I own a bunch of Ruger revolvers but have just recently gotten interested in semi autos.

I have the LCP and LC9 ,and love them,but want a gun better suited to target and range plinking (read,more accurate).

I would prefer to have the slimmest grip possible.

Same frames, different mags. The mags have a plastic block on the bottom to limit the capacity to 10.

It`s a shame they have to put a plug in the mag. to appease a bunch of fools.

I was hoping to find a Ruger model with a slimmer single stack mag.

ruglas , I have handled the SR9 at my local dealers (just today).

That just may be the way I go. :wink:

Have you considered a P345? If I was round limited, that's the way I would go.

Well, I have one (p95 stainless) coming now.
The local Wholesale Sports is transferring it down from the Lacey WA. store.
It should be here by the weekend.
Wholesale sports gets $339 for them nowdays. Seems like an OK price to me. :wink:

You will like the P95 and that price is decent. As you have been informed the 15 and 10 round magazines are identical except the 10-rounders are blocked to meet some idiot state requirements.

These days every high capacity semi-auto maker offers 10 round and full capacity magazines for their pistols depending on where they are sold.
