Duck eating eagle let me get pretty close today

This eagle likes to hang out in this tree right across the road from where our neighbor feeds his angus herd. The Mallard ducks who have been wintering on a warm water artesian about a mile from the house feed over there every day and the eagles have been dining on duck. I was able to get these shots as I rolled slowly by in the pickup. There was a really big Golden Eagle sitting here a couple days ago but he wont let the truck get very close before he flies off

Nice pictures, I was surprised to see the nesting pair down the road "fixing" up their nest, and it was still snowing??? Guess all these warm days, in between the snow, up here in NE Ohio gets things going with Mother Nature................
