Single-Sixer
Had a interesting email exchange you all might like. I answered a WTB ad on backpage.com [like craigslist but guns are allowed] the guy was looking for a .357 or.44 mag so i sent him pics of my 4" blue speed six.
So I tell him the price is $400.00 he replies with this email,
"Hi thanks for the pictures it is a really nice looking gun but to be honest I did some research online and they are all over the web for about $300-325. I would give you $300.00 for it but I really couldn't pay much more than that. Please let me know either way. Thanks again. Ron"
Which is fine if you think it is to much or don't want to pay that much just say so. So I reply with this email
" Ron send me some links for those speed six's for $300 to $325.00 that are all over the web I would like to buy a couple more. Gun broker has seven total and one under $400.00 and it is a .38 special. I know you know they went out of production in 1988 and I can't seem to find that many."
So of course he did not respond, I am thinking I got hooked buy this guy and should have handled this better what the best way to handle this just say thanks for the offer, don't respond or something else?
