I was browsing through some old photo albums and came across some of my attempts at holster making. These two were about the third effort, one for an old Iver Johnson/Uberti Cattleman .44 Magnum, and a Super Blackhawk:

I made this one for my .357 Blackhawk, trying to copy Elmer Keith's favorite Lawrence #120:

(Belt was a gift.)

After color was discovered, I made this one from my own pattern for my .41 Magnum Blackhawk:

I made just enough holsters to realize its best to buy professionally made leather goods!

They don't look bad to me. I had a Custom Saddle Shop for over 35 yrs. must have made over 100 Holsters and belts in that time. Still make my own.

Those are GREAT looking holsters Bob!! I have a couple home made ones, and I can show ya what a lousy home made holster looks like! ;)
