Does SR22 Pistol construction means multiple barrel options?

If you can unbolt the thing, and if the breech block is seperate from the slide, then soon we will see lots of extra barrel options from Ruger, right?

The only option of which I am aware is the plan to offer a longer, threaded barrel as an accessory.

if they make a conversion in .22mag or even .32acp i'll buy it.....last thing i want to do is try to convince the wife i need ANOTHER .22lr pistol.
