What 2-3 guns that have been discontinued would you like to see back in production? I'll go first oh and they don't all have to be rugers.

#1 Remington Nylon 66 std mohawk brown

#2 Ruger #1S this time in some std calibers

#3 Thompson Center Aristocrat single shot. Much nicer than the contender
Based encore IMHO.

2. Ruger Vaquero
3. Ruger 99/44 Deerfield
4. Ruger Mini-14

The M77MKII, I'd pay a few bucks more for a polished blue and non hazy wood coating.

Blued Blackhawks with real wood grips, not "hard rubber".

The Gold Label.

AMEN on the M77MKII!!!!!!!! I thought I was the only one around
who thinks the Hawkeye is a hideous looking bean counter's excuse
for a rifle, made only to maximize profit and minimize manufacturing
time done on detail work. And real WALNUT grips on the single actions,
not blah rosewood although I don't object to the hard rubber ones on
the commemorative flat tops.

Most of the "old school" S&W revolvers, especially the M28 Highway Patrolman. Between the locks and the goofy pimped-up styling, I don't think Smith makes a single revolver I'd want to buy today.

ERMA EM-1 .22LR M1 carbine lookalike (once marketed by Iver Johnson).

High polish blue Ruger SA's

S&W Model 35 exactly the way it was made prior to being discontinued in '74.

Not just the Diamondbacks, but ALL the little D-frames. I'd still like the chance to own a 3" Detective Special or Cobra. :(

Savage 99, any model, as long as it has the rotary mag and is not in .308 -- I already have one of those! :)

They have released quite a few "Classics" built mostly the old way (not P&R though) unfortunately not the M28 though, that is my favorite - I have a 4" one.

S&W's re-issue of the "classics" is a major flop. I wouldn't buy one with your $. I'll keep my 6" '77 Model 28 just the way it is.
