Buckeye
A little something different I traded for this weekend. 1975 Convertable with a BNR brass grip frame and a matte chrome plated LC cylinder(don't even pretend to know why!! It wasn't rusted or pitted). Under all the grime of 20 years of being a truck gun was a pretty nice Blackhawk. My .452 boolits slide thru the throats with thumb pressure, on both cylinders. It had a trigger job at some point in its life along with Bullseye springs. This one was the definition of carried alot, shot a little. There is no blue loss on the face of the recoil shield. Matter of fact, the base pin looks like the cylinder hasn't made but a few revolutions. I'll get some better pictures once I replace the grips with some wood. Still undecided on weather to polish the grip frame or leave it tarnished as is, and weather or not to refinish the LC cylinder or leave it alone too.
Think this one will grow on me
