Did better today

Only 3 out of 50 did not fire on the first try (out of my new SR9c ). The wife stood next to me and shot 50 with no problems out of her Taurus Millenium Pro PT111. Will clean again, dry fire some more, and try to find better ammo.

I finally broke down and shot $40 worth of carry ammo. I just had to know. Gun ran without a flaw. This is very good news!

Thank goodness. Couple more boxes of the dollar a round stuff and I'll call it good to carry.

O K, 50 rounds of Winchester White Box today=absolutely no problems. 25 rounds of that other mess=still getting ftf w/dent in primer(5 all together). Going to hold off on the off brand ammo from now on, that's apparently the whole trick.

I also had an issue when initially using Wolf for the first time in my new SR9c that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. I had the FTF w/ the dent in the primer on a couple of rounds. I put WWB and Remington UMC HP and it fired flawlessly.

The only problem now is that I can't find quality fmj ammo. I've frequented 2 walmarts and Bass Pro Shop and for the first time in 6 months, I got my hands on WWB(3 days ago), I bought the last 3 boxes they had.

You just gotta keep your eyes peeled and always be in the market for a box or two (or more even) when you find them. I'm fixing to start building up a little cache of ammo for my SR9 here I think. Need to get a 500 round minimum or so. Am down to my only box of SD loads.

I'm tryin, cuz. In my area it's just really rare. Although I'm encouraged by the WWB i found at Wallyworld the other day. By the way, they did have a bunch of that Swiss ammo left, but I as well as others just left it on the shelf.
