You'll wanna make some corrections to that request to get a response or what you need. Old Model XR3's weren't used after about 1961.....someone else can say for sure. Vaqueros were never Old Models, they weren't made until the New Models came out. There are two kinds of Vaquero, the original and the New Vaquero. They have different frame sizes. I think you might be looking for an XRN3-RED grip frame.

You're not going find out who has one for sale unless you ask for one marked with an A in a square and XR-3 (that's XR dash 3). The NXR3-RED or XRN-3RED will get you a nice aluminum one.

Well, aluminum is what you would have gotten based on what you asked for so you seem to be the one confused here. It's fine that you know what you want but that helps no body. You're assuming everyone knows what they have or the difference between alum and steel so until you learn a little more by being here longer you'll know that's not true.

I don't have what you want for sale but if you're here long enough you may learn (or may not learn with your attitude) that people on this forum are not just here to supply parts for you. They are mainly here to try to help all members.

And if you hadn't been too lazy to study Hamm's site that YOU yourself linked to, instead of griping at forum members, you'd know what number to ask for and that's what I gave you above. A description for what you want is not adequate especially since your original description is so bad, it's a perfect example of why! Therefore the numbers w/descriptions were put together on that site in the 1st place.

Good luck, I'm not sure anyone will want to deal with you even if they have what you want, your "smooth" personality has become very clear for all to see.

I have been a gun collector for over 40 years and I know I do not know everything, if fact what I once knew is far less than I now Know, as I have forgotten mre stuff than I now know!
That said. Steel meand Steel and Blued meand blues and because you old guys who buy 1953 Ruger BLACKHAWKS think OLD MODEL Vaquero means 1953 Blackhawk. I am talking prior to 2005, without the lock NEW MODEL Vaquero

I'm not sure there are any technical errors in either of our posts that are significant yet the OP insists on yelling and screaming and being rude. Even I might have what he needs but since it makes no sense what the ramblings are or what he wants, I'm not sure. I guess we could just let this one die.

Chill out. He told us exactly what he wanted and was perfectly clear. He wants the blued steel XR3-RED sized grip that would have come on an older model (read original) Vaquero. He even gave you the approximate date of the gun for pity's sake? Nobody here is stupid enough to believe that Vaqueros were ever 3 screws! Now do you have one or not? The guy is trying to find a part in good faith it is not particularly helpful to badger him.

I understand exactly what you seek, was looking for one myself a while back,
found a MK Teck/ Qualite Steel NM that was NIB part that came thru Brownells Part # 737-200-002.
I ended up finding a Brass GF which I prefered so....
