Deer Fly?

Those pesty things are worse this year.

So bad, the guy that mows my fields has not come back.

Any methods you have used that helps

Years back I made a 6 foot boom for the sprayer and this week turned it upside down and drove the edge of the woods with a tank of acephate, bifenthrin and malathon. When I drive the truck around an hour later they are still swarming

Yep, deer flys are swarming this year in Middle Tn too. When I hike I spray my hat and legs with deep woods OFF. No problems after.

Hate them more than mosquitos. the ones here in Wis. give you big welts that last for an hour or so.
