Davidson's 4" GP-100 .22lr (Improved Fire Control System)

Davidson's is listing a 4" distributor exclusive (model 1766), not in stock yet, though.

My question is they list under the features that it has an, "Improved Fire Control System".

Any Ruger insiders know what this means? I'm guessing that maybe it's been worked similar to the Match Champion.

Though I'd still like a full lug and a rib that was higher, this model may make me pull the trigger.

It sounds to me like it's a lighter mainspring.

Looks like a 4 inch barrel as opposed to the 5.5 inch barrel...the fire control system was advertised since the GP-.22 came out in 2015.
