Dad told me once I felt sorry for myself because I had no shoes, until I met a man who didn't have any feet. (Dad did grow up stuffing yesterday's Atlanta Constitution into his shoes to cover the holes in the bottom).
Tonight, we met some old acquaintances. Actually, wives met several years (25+-) ago when she volunteered at the handicapped riding center as the people we met had a daughter there. The are upper 70s and there is no one to take care of their daughter after they pass. Wives kept up most of the contact as wife worked in a mom-and-pop drug store and got to meet several people, some big names but I digress. We talked some tonight and later my wife told me they had another daughter who grew up got married a man with two kids. She died of bone cancer. And the husband has not let them see the grand kids. There is some evil divisiveness in my family now which I hate and I let it eat at me, After tonight I have gone back and counted blessings and found many that took some digging. ,
