In your photo, the two NYCPD models appeard to have a slightly different angle at the tip of the ejector shroud where it meets the barrel ...........compared to the other models in the pic.

Is this something unique to the NYCPD models or is it a slight illusion from the photo?

Good Eye!!! I don't have my notes handy right now, but weaselmeatgravy
has noted the different angles on the shrouds in a past post.
I'll get back to you or WMG or Chet15 may comment before then.
Every NYCPD gun I have seen the shrouds are like these two.
