Guys,
I know this is the Ruger forum and these are not Rugers, but thought you all may enjoy the snapshots.

These are a couple rifles I've built recently.

Nothin' wrong with some nice flintlocks! My dad used to build those and used them in competition... Wish we still had 'em. :(

Did your dad ever make it to Friendship? If so, I've probably shot with him at some point over the last 30 years.

Those are beautiful, and your work is excellent. The old muzzle loaders are some of the handsomest firearms ever made, but I, for one, just can't get too enthusiastic about front-loaders, other than admiring them.

Nice work and nice guns.
I built a Fowler just like yours abour30 yr ago.
I used a molot 36" 12ga barrel.
Shoot it at the NMLRA Trap and the Indian trade gun match.

Very nice ! I used to work with a gentleman by the name of Albert Felix that made many flint lock wee-pons over the years, his years. Some of his went on to win nat'l matches too. On break time or lunch period, he'd be sitting with a piece of brass or silver and a file, working away. I showed him a pic of a german double rifle once. A year later he called me over to the trunk of his car and pulled out a perfect match to the pic. He used no power equipment. Gotta stop over and see him before its too late. steve b
