At least when I clicked on the Facebook part at the lower section it played... is a review of the video from the song "We are the World" which was that song done by a whole lot of pop singers in one night.... has still shot of how many of them look now years later or if they are dead....

I guess now all the musicians would complain, saying no one made any money because of streaming, and somehow it would all be Trump's fault anyway.

I thought it was a great effort. It has a good message, and the performers appeared to be seriously into it. To get all those egos to come together was obviously a major challenge.
Make what you will about all the skirmishes and problems in its production, it did resonate with a lotta folks. Those who will take issue with any aspects of it are certainly welcome to do so.
I liked it then, and I still react to it favorably today. It struck a nerve with me that hasn't been hit for quite a while. The STARS performance is right up there for me as well. With all the crap that's going on these days a little hopeful message is welcome. All JMHO.
Can it happen again, now? I dunno. I'd like to think so. Whether today's audience would react favorably to such an effort I cannot predict. The current mass media influence would present a considerable opportunity for criticism, as to be expected.

The Farm Aid concerts were similar. Celebrities trying to build up the country, now they want to tear it down.

If something like "We are the World" were done now, it would be pitiful scenes of illegal alien children being brutalized by the "gestapo" ICE agents, with all of the rich entertainers singing to encourage us to impoverish ourselves (but not the entertainers themselves) to support any and all illegals who want to come here to create an Islamic nation ruled by Sharia law.
