Dang, that's a nice shot. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. As many field shots as you post, I know this wasn't blind luck. Nice shot.

THAT, is what it's all about. I've got to see lot's of neat stuff in the great outdoors over the years, and that's an incredible shot

Great shot. A female; they're almost twice as big as the male, and have those rosy "chest" feathers. They LOVE bird feeders, and seem to be especially fond of the Asian ringdoves that some knucklehead imported out here (who doesn't like Asian food?).

Most hawks are relatively fearless, but the members of this family (Accipters) JUST DON'T CARE!
